The Swan has been on this site for about 400 years. The present Swan was built in the 1930s and was taken over by the family in June 1980.

It became a very famous meeting place for Irish people living and coming to London, with great traditional Irish music and a magnificent atmosphere.

Over the years, literally hundreds of thousands have been to The Swan to enjoy its great music and warm welcome. Consequently, almost anywhere you go in the world, you can meet people that have been to The Swan in Stockwell and will have amazing stories to tell of great nights had here.

It continues, to this day, to offer this great entertainment and atmosphere and has remained in the family and is still successfully run by them today.
